It is getting shorter. Every morning, when you wake up you have less time to achieve your goals than you had the day before.
I was consulting with a client of mine who recently lost her father. This past summer in August, my uncle, who was very influential in my youth passed away. To add to the macabre feeling is the realization that less than a month after writing this, I will hit my fiftieth birthday. Based on a quick Google search for average male life expectancy in Canada, I will have a little over thirty-one years left to accomplish all my goals.
That isn’t much time.
At this point if I haven’t scared you off, you may be wondering, “Paul, what does this have to do with internet marketing?”
Lots.
You have three ways you can master any skill in life. You can learn from experience; You can learn from books; You can hire a coach or an expert.
For many years, I chose to learn from experience. Good old trial and error or the scientific method. This is where you test an idea or process and see if it works. If it doesn’t, then you test something else, until you find something that does work. Then using that method as a control, you split test to see if you can find a better way to make it work. And so on and so on until you have become a master. The knowledge and skill you are developing through trial and error is often mistaken as the cheapest way to learn.
Trust me it isn’t. Mistakes are costly regardless of lessons learned. The time it takes to become a master can never be replaced. In my opinion, learning through experience is the most expensive way to learn and master any skill.
That leads us to the next stage of mastering a skill. Learning from others. Bookstores, libraries, schools universities and the internet are full of books from the masters that have traveled your path. Go to school, take a course, get an education is a path many have followed in their lifetimes. The client I was referring to above, invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans to become a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) and a nutritionist. Sixteen years later she is still paying off those loans. It took her eight years to master chiropractic to the point to be called a doctor. It was for her a lengthy and expensive education.
Finall,y you can hire a coach. Someone like you who is in the trenches every day doing what you want to do. Yes, their fee may seem high at first. That fee is nothing compared to the time you save to become a master. It fast tracks you to the next level. Alternatively, you can hire that expert to do what they do best. That is by far the fastest way to achieve your goals.
Since 2005, I have invested time and money as well as thousands of trial and error tests to master my craft as a digital marketer. You can take advantage of that time and money invested by having us fast track your goals and eliminating the expensive learning curve. Your really big benefit to doing that? Tomorrow you have less time to reach your goals than you have today. By helping you achieve your goals faster, you will have more time to enjoy the results and success.
Remember the one thing we do not have in abundance is time. It dwindles daily until we run out of time. The problem is, rarely do any of us know when our time is up. The only thing I do know, that you now know is time is running out for all of us. So let me ask you this. Do you want to waste the time you have left, mastering the skills I have? Or would you rather invest in our skills and enjoy the results that much faster.
The choice is yours. Choose wisely
